Kirkwood Community College sophomore Grant Greazel won medalist honors at the National Junior College Athletic Association’s Division II National Championship men’s golf tournament May 21-24 at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club in Joplin, Mo. Greazel went wire-to-wire to win the tournament, leading it after all four rounds of play with his scores of 71-69-74-71–285. Greazel won the national title by five strokes as Kirkwood placed second in the final standings. Greazel placed 23rd in last year’s national tournament in which the Eagles won the school’s first-ever men’s golf championship. Greazel is a 2022 graduate of Marshalltown High School.
